Data Storage for Version 2 and above for Jira

No data whatsoever is stored on the Purple Rhapsody Tech servers for version 2 and above of the Jira plugin.

Data Storage for all other versions on Jira and Confluence

The only data stored by these add-ons on the Purple Rhapsody Tech servers is a client identification key used by Atlassian to identify a valid installation of the add-on and, in the case of customers using the Github authorisation functionality in Confluence, a secure token to allow the app to retrieve PlantUML from Github on the user’s behalf. These do not contain any user-identifiable information and is used to prevent unauthorised use of the add-on.

Further information

For all versions the add-on is essentially a pass-through service where the image is rendered in real time from Purple Rhapsody Tech’s own PlantUML server and returned directly to Confluence or Jira without any of the information being stored on any server.

Data Security

All data sent from Confluence, Jira, or monday.com to the add-on/app is sent over SSL connection, and all information sent from the add-on/app to the rendering server is also then encrypted. No plain text information is sent from Confluence, Jira, or monday.com to the add-on/app and every request to the add-on/app has to pass authentication using the client identification key mentioned in the Data Retention Policy above.
